MEMBER RULES Our rules are simple enough to follow.  Please read them carefully!  If, after reading them, you feel that you can abide by them & want to join the site, then follow the instructions posted below. If you have no intention of taking our rules seriously, please don't bother wasting our time. Our rules are as follows: ~ You can have a maximum of 10 characters on this site. The characters you create can be any combination of children, teens, or adults you like, but we do ask you make them in moderation.  Please don't make characters just for the sake of making them because you can. We expect our members to keep any characters they make active.  If any character goes inactive for a period of two months or more they will be deleted from the site.  (Simply logging into the forum with any of your characters without posting anywhere does not count as "activity".)  Anyone who creates more characters than what is allowed will face suspension or possible banning from this site. If you have questions or concerns regarding this rule, please contact one of the admins for further clarification. Child characters are age 10 & under & must be accompanied in any RP by an adult at all times. Teen characters are age 11 to 17 & should currently be enrolled at Hogwarts. Adult characters are age 18 & up & no longer in school (unless they are attending college).   ~ All comments posted on this site are to be rated “G”. Furthermore, all participants at this site are of various races & religions.  We will not tolerate any insulting, racist, or offensive remarks made by anyone (this includes comments of a sexual nature as well)!  If any remarks of that nature are posted anywhere on this site, you will be banned permanently.  There are NO exceptions to this rule! ~ Any avatar or signature images you wish to use must be hosted on a site such as Image Shack or Photobucket as we do not allow uploading directly from your computer for security reasons. If you plan on using an avatar or signature image found on another site, please make sure the image is not copyrighted & do not under any circumstances directly link to it otherwise we'll be in violation of bandwidth theft.   Maximum avatar size is 200x200 & maximum signature image size is 200x500.  All members MUST put a link back to the site where they got their avatar or signature image from in their "signature" space or the image(s) will be removed (this also includes base credit for dolls). ~ Plagiarism is against the law & will not be tolerated on this site! Any type of image or written work posted on this site should be your own creation.  If you choose to use any image or written work on this site that you personally did not create, then proper credit to the original source must be given where the image or written work is being used.  If you don't give proper credit for works you post & the original creator of those works find them on our site, we could face a plagiarism law suit &/or be slapped with penalties & fines, possibly losing our domain & all content within our site.  Anyone who is found plagiarizing the works of others (i.e. using others' work without giving proper credit for them)will be banned from this site, no ifs ands or buts. Consider this your warning. ~ If you wish to advertise other RPG sites to our members, you must first seek admin permission to do so. Any members who take advantage of the resources provided here (such as our forum PM system, our forum e-mail system, our chat room, etc.) to advertise other sites that are not currently affiliated with us without getting admin permission first will be banned. If you don't wish to ask for admin permission, then use your own personal e-mail program or IM service to spread the word. ~ Before you begin to Role Play, please be sure to read all guidelines & rules posted in the RPG Resources section. If you feel you cannot follow the guidelines that are set forth, it would be in your best interest not to Role Play - for every rule you break a consequence will be enforced that may ultimately get you banned permanently from our site.
